Sequence of a Herd of Guanacos in the Patagonian Steppe, this camelid is a wild animal, as opposed to the Llama which is domestic. They live in groups that are made up of females, where there is only one alpha male. The other males are not part of the herd and live alone around it.
Most of the time they fight each other for the control of the pack.
The Guanaco can run at more than 60 km/h, and this speed it’s important for its survival, his main predator is the Puma.
Secuencia de una Manada de Guanacos en la estepa Patagónica, este camélido, es un animal salvaje, en oposición a la Llama que es domésticable.
Viven en grupos que se componen por hembras donde solamente hay un macho alfa. Los otros machos no son parte de la manada y viven solitariamente a su alrededor. La mayoría de las veces pelean entre ellos por el control de el grupo de hembras.
El guanaco puede correr a más de 60 km/h, y su velocidad es clave para su supervivencia, pues su principal depredador es el Puma.

Young Condor.., practicing his first flights alone, here he has already stopped flying with his parents, taking courage and balancing his legs.
It is a male, approximately two years old, with a wingspan when wings open of about 2 meters, but when become an adult will exceed 3 meters, it has begun to change its plumage, especially in its rear feathers..., one day, will become totally white,and he will have his white colar, also the rest of his body totally black.
For the proximity of his flight, we can appreciate his youthful face, like any other puppy !

Cóndor juvenil practicando sus primeros vuelos sólo, tomando coraje y equilibrándose con sus patas. Se trata de un cóndor macho, de aproximadamente dos años, con una envergadura con su salas abiertas de unos 2 m, que cuando sea adulto superará los 3 m, ha comenzado a cambiar su plumaje, especialmente en las plumas posteriores que un día serán totalmente blancas y tendrá su collar blanco. El resto de su cuerpo será totalmente negro.
Por la proximidad de su vuelo podemos apreciar su rostro juvenil como en cualquier otro cachorro !
Esta secuencia fue capturada desde la montaña de Punta Walichu, Y como fondo tenemos, el Lago Argentino en El Calafate.
