BTS - Our second drop from the nationwide campaign we did. Film 2/6 There are so many ways someone can be excluded. Sometimes it’s loud. Sometimes it’s subtle. In this story, it’s a girl who isn’t allowed to join the school radio because she stutters. No alternatives and no support.. just being left out.

This one feels especially personal. We filmed this at the scriptwriter’s home, someone with a deep love for radio. Being able to tell this story in a place filled with that same passion made it even more meaningful.
 Stories like these aren’t always easy to tell, but they matter because exclusion often goes unnoticed, while its impact doesn’t.
 At the heart of this campaign is a simple message: if you experience discrimination, you don’t have to carry it alone. Report it. Even if it feels small, even if you’re unsure: just do it. So you don’t have to carry it for the rest of your life.

Rotterdam… dit was echt bijzonder. Een avond vol eerlijke gesprekken, herkenning en verbinding - rondom Sex, Language & Dignity. Dank jullie wel voor jullie openheid, voor het er zijn en voor het aangaan van het gesprek. We weten dat het een heavy topic was. En toch hopen we dat je je gedragen hebt gevoeld. Op Internationale Vrouwendag kwamen we samen. Een prachtige groep vrouwen. Zo’n samenkomst waarvan je voelt: dit is precies zoals het bedoeld is. Wat ik vandaag vooral voel, is dankbaarheid. Voor het veld dat we samen hebben geopend. Voor de kwetsbaarheid die gedeeld werd, want juist daar zit zoveel kracht in. Wanneer er veiligheid is, kan er zoveel in beweging komen en precies datgeen mochten we met elkaar ervaren. We zijn met elkaar in gesprek gegaan over grenzen, over waarden, over de stukken van onszelf die soms in de schaduw liggen. En hoe helend het is om die niet alleen te hoeven dragen, maar ze in sisterhood te mogen delen. Samen hebben we 20.362 stappen gezet. Door het bos, langs de bomen, tot aan het strand waar de wind alles even mocht meenemen. Samen uitwaaien, samen loslaten, samen ruimte maken. En tegelijkertijd was er ook ruimte om gewoon even alleen te zijn. Om stil te worden. Om je eigen tempo te volgen. Onder de muzikale begeleiding van Bobo Rose. Voor de klanken, de gitaar, de bedding die hen bracht. De manier waarop muziek het veld nog verder opende en ons meenam naar een diepere laag. Ik voel me rijk dat ik zulke mensen samen mag zien op één plek. Dat we elkaar mogen ontmoeten, dragen en herinneren aan wat er ontstaat wanneer vrouwen écht samenkomen. Als ik zeg ik kom van ver, geloof me. Maar de groei is onvermijdelijk. Vandaag, op dag 9, sta ik stil bij mijn groei. Mijn dankbaarheid. Mijn doorzettingsvermogen. Selflove is really the best love. Ik dank @serenitheory Serenity voor more of these words voor mijn podium. Ik heb dit gefreestyled, geen script, geen voorbereiding. Het kwam recht uit mijn hart. En dat is misschien wel de grootste groei. Dat ik durf te spreken zonder filter. Dat ik durf te voelen zonder schaamte. Dat ik durf te staan zonder toestemming. Living the Selflove Bucketbook. Day 9. Gratitude. En geloof me… we zijn nog maar net begonnen.

Dat m’n man me onderweg naar het ziekenhuis belde, terwijl ik thuis lag met slapende kinderen, was niet fijn. Dat hij nu grotendeels in een rolstoel zit, is ook niet fijn. Wat wél fijn is, is dat ik mezelf er weer toe heb kunnen zetten om poffertjes te bakken. Ik ben een pannenkoeken en poffertjes snob en vind het eigenlijk onacceptabel dat mijn jongste nog nooit verse poffertjes had gegeten. Wat ook fijn is, is dat ik eigenlijk geen tijd heb om na te denken. Ben continu aan het racen en er is nu altijd wel iets dat ik moet doen. Wat het fijnst was, was dat het deze week vakantie was. We hadden die vertraging echt even nodig. Hoe was jouw februari?

MEET JAY JOW ✨ Onze 8-jarige voetbal fanaat die letterlijk alles als bal gebruikt wanneer hij daar de kans voor krijgt. Om gek van te worden, maar toch ook wel mooi om zijn passie te zien bloeien en groeien. Tijdens deze vakantie bezochten we o.a het Pele museum and the little king had a blast.
