Quick story: Amrita and I met back during the beginning of COVID. We met through FaceTime and we would talk every night for the next couple years laughing ourselves to sleep. 5 years later, she released her own song (which I’m incredibly proud of🥹) and asked me to choreo. She learned the dance the night before shooting which was the first time we actually met face to face for the first time but it felt like we were who we were on those FaceTimes. Nothing changed. Just two girls laughing. This project is not only meant to send a message but it is also a testament to our long friendship💕

Last week, Equity Unscripted hosted by Anika Mathur and Seraa Sharma at NYU LA started an inspiring panel and mixer exploring the reality of inclusion behind the scenes in entertainment ✨
This event started as an idea to spark real conversations about what it takes to build a more equitable industry, and seeing it come to life was incredible.
With a crowd from various fields, we all realized that inclusion isn’t just about having a seat at the table, it’s about having the power and support to lead.
