We return to that same warehouse, this time with 2 ROOMS of curated sound. Our Room 1 features high energy dance music beneath a new visual build by D.F.G. and Ben G R while Room 2 amplifies regulatory, restorative, and ambient sounds by a lineup of brilliant and far-thinking artist-friends. (Vegan + gluten free options available!) If you attended the last Slip, you know that the warehouse we're using is to the LEFT of the courtyard, with the entrance being up the loading ramp. NO TAGGING Entry is $25 Cash, tap to pay, venmo, or cashapp accepted. Event is 21+ and BYOB. 2 Porto Potties will be available outside the venue. 1 ADA-compliant one and one smaller one. The entire venue is wheelchair accessible! The entrance to the venue is a large loading ramp, and both dancefloors are accessible with no stairs! In Room 1, we'll have a safer space table with friends to talk to and receive testing kits, narcan, and safer sex supplies. We are encouraging folks to bring your own reusable water bottles! We’re excited to call on this rave treasure for a rare performance. 4pm SHARP! Don’t be late! We’ll be picked afterwards up by our beloved feline soundsmith Intimacy Simulator. An intrepid and thoughtful wanderer, he returns from Philly for a few days with a bag of characteristically deep and vibrant musical findings :3 Then, who better to guide the dancers through golden hour than Sunday Sessions co-host and joyful noisemaker SchiTheGod? Prepare to move yourselves to music both grounded and far-reaching! The last two hours of the event will be under the guidance of legendary Texan selectress, producer, and visual artist Rosei City. In anticipation of this NYE (scroll for FAQ), we’re releasing the closing set of last year’s Point of Contact – a 3.5 hour recording from warehouse dreamers Vitalik + Lucía Beyond. It’s a driven, albeit crunchy, celebration of rave culture and persistent togetherness. It comes complete with multiple generator failures, heavily distorted everything, original music made in Austin, and crowd noise! The mix was recorded from ~2:30am~6:00am on Jan 1st, 2025 with 3 CDJs and 1 turntable. Link is in our bio! Point of Contact this year returns with a lineup of dedicated technicians, hidden treasures, and undeniable it-girls. Sequence 2: Float Sunday Oct 12th 4pm - 10pm Private Residence We are so excited to continue our personal series with another day party, this one focused on ambient, downtempo, and experimental sounds! We’ve asked friends from far and wide to come and share including the deep and sweet duo Farplane (@glorbis + @lexciya_ ) from Chicago and our sister @woundrecovery who arrives home with new selections and original productions! @saliyahmusic will present one of his rare and intricate live sets to our attentive ears, and @mooncloud222 and @luciabeyond will open the space with a first time b2b! This will be a show focused on long and slow music, so please feel free to bring blankets, pillows, and other soft things for the main floor, and chairs for the yard seating. Dancing is always allowed but please be mindful of your seated neighbors!
