Sequence. Wuppertal, since 2018.
Electronic music at the intersection of art, nature and technology - shaped by clarity, precision and concept. Sets emerge from long arcs of tension, subtle transitions, sonic spaces. No loose combination for short-lived euphoria. A flow.
Inclusive. Open. Collaborative - with DJs, producers, visual artists of the region.
We are very pleased to welcome @rosabosaa to this episode of the Sequence Podcast.
Rosa, now based in Rotterdam, found creative ways to thrive at night in her former hometown by organizing free outdoor parties and founding the collective @rooibosch . She later started @draaisessies in Tilburg: a community hub offering free music production and DJ lessons to local youth.
Rosa’s musical style blends diverse rhythms and genres; focusing on bass-heavy, percussion-driven tracks in club settings, while her radio show Work in Progress on Operator features warm, experimental music for relaxed listening.
Please enjoy!

In this month's episode we welcome Dj Mann, a DJ and visual artist from Cologne. As a member of the Düsseldorf collective @aboutrepetition , he curates their Listening Café series.
His penchant for patient mixing, dreamy atmospheres and dubby sounds is clearly expressed in this mix. Unafraid to delve into many directions, he combines minimal, dub techno, microhouse and trance in this mellow, after-hours-inspired journey.
Please enjoy!

Sequence is a Wuppertal based collective dedicated to the connection between art, nature and technology. Active since 2018, the project develops its work through electronic music with a focus on clarity and intent.
A central element of the collective’s curation is the immersive and hypnotic character of the music. This focus shapes the identity of Sequence in a direct way. Sets and lineups are built around long form structures, subtle transitions and soundscapes that draw listeners into a stable, continuous flow. The aim is to create a coherent experience rather than isolated moments.
Sequence defines itself as an inclusive space that welcomes different perspectives and backgrounds. The collective collaborates with DJs, producers and visual artists from multiple disciplines and promotes a culture of openness, respect and creative responsibility.
The objective is the development of a modern identity for the local scene. The work follows a direct principle: high quality artistic output presented in an environment that feels accessible, coherent and refined.

Mexem and Danyon fuse hypnotic techno, reduced drum and bass, and vivid dubstep into a steadily driving flow that unfolds organically across the entire frequency spectrum. Deep dub chords, broken percussion, textured highs, and bold sound design shape an intense progression that remains clear, focused, and relentlessly propulsive.
