After 8 beautiful years (and counting), still my ride or die partner, my rock, my best friend, and sometimes my therapist(?) 😆 We’re now slowly building and living the life we prayed for and hopefully with Batchi real soon. Where to start? It’s been almost a year since I began my Master’s degree here in New Zealand, and I’ve got to say, it’s been an amazing experience so far (juggling assessments, work, side gigs, the cold, and a foreign place haha). Who would have thought that I’d find myself going back to school (12 years later) and finally taking a program that I’m genuinely eager to learn about? The universe truly is a wonder!
We’re now at the final leg of the second trimester, and lo and behold, I had the opportunity to be part of the University’s annual creative practice student showcase. I had the privilege of being selected for an actual exhibit! It felt so surreal, and truly a one-of-a-kind experience that I’ll never forget. <3
So, if you find yourself in Hamilton and happen to visit the University, drop by the Gallagher Academy of Performing Arts and Gallery, and take a look at the amazing art pieces! It is now open for public viewing until the 17th of April, 2026.

Our 3 day Unyoked Adventure. It started with a roadtrip to Raglan, with long winding roads and utterly breathtaking views. We found ourselves at a private haven where you literally (leave all your worries behind) grab a dolly, and take a 1KM hike up to reach the cabin. You walk, sweat it out, take a break, breathe, hydrate, lay on the grass and do it all again until you find yourself at the top of the hill, where the only people around is just the two of us.
You pause, like really pause and just listen. 🍃Time stretches, and in that moment I have come to realize that being truly present is what matters most. This is the kind of luxury that I will choose to keep, today and till my next waking moments in life. 😌
