‘You are the key!’
Campaign for Zoos Victoria, applied to a range of relevant promotional materials. Illustrations feature threatened and endangered species who call one of Zoos Vic’s locations home, made with digital collage.

‘My Brain as a Fridge’ Publication
Me: If my brain was a physical organisation system, what would it be?
My dad: A fridge.
My Studio Knowledge Object publication for Book Cover Design took the form of a fridge, as a metaphor for my mind containing all the different lessons I had learnt in the course of the studio.
Each lesson in the “freezer” has a corresponding visual on each page of the “fridge”. As the two sections can flip independently of each other, I decided to make it a funky matching game.
Best part is when you hold a light to the back, it really does look like a fridge!! Thank you tracing paper.

‘Gentle and Fierce’ book cover series
A trilogy of book cover designs for 3 chapters of ‘Gentle and Fierce’ by Vanessa Berry. Each animal casts a (sort of) human shadow, reflecting the close relationship between the author and the animals she encountered.
This process had me making animals out of cardboard and holding a torchlight to the wall for an undisclosed amount of time to get a sense of the shadows, but I really enjoyed the hands-on-ness of it.

‘Intertwined’
A photographic body of work on memory and how we remember things in pieces, fragments and moments that form the whole “picture”.
Each image is made of 2 photos I printed out and weaved together, then scanned back in. Accompanying these photos is a poem and illustrations that turn the words into visuals.

‘Superbloom’
Based on this series of 4 artworks, Superbloom was a mini campaign created with the goal of cultivating a love for nature in young people, inspiring them to plant more flowers, be more environmentally-conscious and adopt a joy for gardening.
Each piece was created using (mostly) paper collage w a smidge of digital collage too, featuring balloon flowers, lily of the valley, peonies and buttercups.
The campaign included 4 different flower-planting kits aka ‘Bloom Boxes’, and a T-Shirt in a light and dark version.
