Good afternoon everyone! Congratulations to the class of 2025, and thank you to everyone who came to the industry screening for the SVA Computer Animation and VFX thesis films yesterday to support. While working on this film for the past 2 years, it was always exciting to be a part of creating a film with designs and characters that took inspiration from different cultures, while blending stylized and realistic 3d animation techniques into our storytelling. Finishing this film was challenging to achieve, so I can’t thank my Co-Director Anshul Katkar and teammate Sarah Terceros, along with our extended team enough for bringing this ambitious project to life!
I also want to thank all of the advisors and mentors who guided us along the way like Michelle Marakasherry, Ollie Yao, MontaQue Ruffin, Derrick Forkel, David Han, Mark Osborne, and others, along with our sound and music artists, Victor Kong and Matt Villanueva.
