ĀHUA FW 26: 🧷SIGNATURE SHOW🧷 makeup designed by me!!!! I had the honour of being head makeup artist for the last show of @ahuaaotearoa this season. this was a showcase featuring over 30 designers and 76 models to summarise the entire week, and I really wanted to lean in on this season’s theme of craftsmanship. every model is wearing a hand-linked safety pin chain that runs through the hair and onto the face. each makeup artist’s own craft and identity is reflected with their brushstrokes over the eyelids and freedom to place the safety pin chain however they saw fit. this took over 1500 safety pins that my beautiful girlfriend and i assembled the day before the show (swipe to the end to see a timelapse) but the final show was better than i ever could have imagined and i am so thankful to everyone involved for helping me pull it off!!! this was such a fulfilling and passionate project to be a part of, i can’t wait to be back 🩷🩷🩷🩷 the wonderful head hairstylist: @carla_the_creator my beautiful makeup team, you all have my heart: @c.creature.creations @mx.valentine.mua @mayajanebeauty @beautybymaylene @werqingdoll @sacha.wilkin @sarasareyemakeup @zoe_afshar_777 @lrbeauty.nz thank you producers for putting on a banger of a show: @fifimademedoit , @vysanvinea , @gracella.l MASSIVE thank you to the photographers for these gorgeous photos: @ba.il3y_ @aliyahhazeledwards @s.arahdoss @maxxbeach makeup sponsor: @maxandlouie_beauty hair sponsor: @urbankurlstudio
