Supreme “Last Supper” Deck Set, 2002 One of the rarest sets put forth by the “World Famous” streetwear brand, the “Last Supper” set was also one of the brand’s first sets that required all decks to fully represent the intended image. Unique to this set was the decision to solely release the deck featuring Jesus in Japan. Altered to include a cursive Supreme logo at the bottom and a zoomed-in image, there has been no clear answer provided as to why Supreme’s Japan store did not receive the full set. Via Christie’s, a complete set (sans the Japan exclusive deck) sold for $13,750 in December 2019.

Jewelry linked to Atlanta-based rapper Peewee Longway is now being sold through a U.S. Marshals Service auction as the rapper’s federal case moves forward (to sentencing). Longway entered a plea agreement on April 1st to charges stemming from a 2024 investigation alleging the trafficking of narcotics & firearms. The relationship between fashion designer Jeremy Scott and sportswear powerhouse Adidas goes all the way back to 2003, but it was 2008 when the partnership took a step forward with the debut of Adidas Originals by Jeremy Scott. A dedicated apparel, footwear & accessories line that embodied the partnership, it reportedly was successful early on, however it was the 2011 release of the “Teddy Bears” sneakers that gave the it much of the notoriety and attention that brought it to the fame it holds today. One of the defining designer x brand collaborations of the 2010s, Scott and Adidas consistently put forth daring looks that appealed to style conscious individuals on all levels imaginable. The products put forth shifted the paradigm by giving consumers new ways to consider design, functionality and overall appearance both in sportswear and in apparel in general. The partnership between Scott and Adidas came to a close in 2015 but was renewed in 2021. Many of the sneakers and garments from the partnership’s earlier years have appreciated greatly in value.

turning back the clock on ye’s creative partnership with aus taylor: the collaborative globe stage design at ye’s recent sofi shows has shone a light on the duo’s work together over the years. taylor, a self taught visual artist from baltimore, moved to paris in his early 20s to widen his perspective, and has since garnered a distinct visual identity which is apparent in his earlier works with paris texas and jpegmafia, amongst others. since then, aus and ye have worked closely together on a number of designs, shoots, and productions - with aus describing himself as a “vessel” for making their shared ideas become a reality.
