I am overwhelmed by the response I received from my last story about my career decision.
Ditching my mechanical engineering path after 12 years wasn’t easy. These decisions take time, especially when they’re about following your heart. I love so many things, and choosing just one path felt (and still feels) impossible, although I am deeply thankful for the joy these interests bring me every day. They all play a part in this journey.
But I’ve realized: you don’t have to lose your other passions to chase a dream. They shape who you are, even when they’re not your main focus.
If you’re struggling with big choices, remember: every part of you matters. Trust the process and see where it takes you.
