I spent 2025 being very strategic about where I wanted to be next in my career. I applied to very specific roles that aligned with my values and the impact I desire to make. But whew… y’all know the job market is a BEAST. 😮💨
At the same time, I was wrestling with whether I even wanted to go back to work full-time. I LOVE the flexibility I have with spending time with my daughter, but my heart also wanted more in my career.
If you know me, you know I love working in spaces that allow me to give back, especially in ways that support marginalized and overlooked communities.
I received rejection after rejection. And through much-needed fasting and prayer, God opened a door I didn’t even apply for. I interviewed one day and received the offer the very next day!
The Lord heard my cries and my prayers. He placed my name in the hearts and minds of people to consider me. He led me to EXACTLY where I’m supposed to be in this season. And for that, I stand in awe of His grace and favor over my life.
To anyone who is in a season of applying and facing rejection after rejection: please know that the Lord hears you. Don’t stop praying. Don’t stop doing the work. Don’t give up.
He WILL bring you to where you’re meant to be.
I am living proof. 🙏🏽💛
