@selom.exe is a Cardiff-based producer and DJ pushing bass-heavy sounds with a flair for percussive, breaks-driven track.
As part of the Midi Cartel Collective, he’s graced stages alongside names like My Nu Leng, Sammy Virji, Y U QT, and Mungo’s HiFi.
Now he is stepping up for Drill & Bass with his take on the UK rap classic ‘Thiago Silva’. Retaining the original’s instantly recognisable synth hook, he flips the tune into a funky, percussive, breaksy, footwork heater. Heavy b-lines and syncopated drum rhythms drive the tune forward.
It’s a bold, genre-blurring take that shows Selom isn’t afraid to let his creativity push through in his tracks.
