After months of teasing, of sharing every step, every doubt, every little victory… it’s finally here! The very first look at my handmade Cardcaptor Sakura! This project has been such a journey. From the first brainstorms to the final stitches, you’ve been there—watching, supporting, cheering me on. Honestly, it was heart-warming. Your messages, your excitement, your patience… it meant everything and kept me steady on this project at a time that was a difficult one for me. Seeing this cosplay come to life feels surreal. Rainbow Moon Heart Ache in action! It was about time to shoot my latest Sailor Moon cosplay and the last fuku I needed in my collection after making the basic and eternal versions a few years back! I went all out with the sequin gradient and shiny materials still trying to balance it out with interesting textures! The sewing pattern used is the same as my normal fuku on my e-store except for wider and bigger bows and different sleeves. The beaded goldwork brooch really finishes off the costume and it's also available for purchase (tutorial) as well as the rest of the accessoiries! 📷 @esby.photo

Inspired by the iconic good witch from Wicked, this piece has been crafted with love, and just the right touch of grimmerie enchantment. 🇬🇧 - My “Usagi captive” cosplay from Sailor Moon has quite a story… ✨ I barely got to wear it, because of significant weight changes that now mean I have to completely resize the dress. But honestly, it’s also a great opportunity: rework the cuffs, remake the wings, and improve all those little details I wasn’t fully happy with. It just proves that a cosplay has a life of its own. It evolves with us, adapts to our changes, can exist in multiple versions… but it’s always worn with the same joy 💫 ------- 🇫🇷 - Mon cosplay d’Usagi prisonnière de Sailor Moon a une histoire un peu particulière… Je n’ai presque pas pu en profiter, à cause d’une importante prise puis perte de poids qui m’oblige aujourd’hui à entièrement retailler la robe. Mais au fond, c’est aussi une belle opportunité : reprendre les manchettes, refaire les ailes… et améliorer tous ces petits détails qui ne me plaisaient plus. Comme quoi, un cosplay a sa propre vie. Happy 23th birthday to the first PS2 game I ever played Final Fantasy X-2, featuring one of my favourite character from the licence : the adorable and sunny Rikku. Can you believe these daggers were the first props I ever made in 2007 when it was rare to find eva foam and most props were made of cardboard, wood, yoga mats & plastic bottle? Something I reminisce about good old time in the 2000's, when cosplay couldn't be purchased. When you had no specific materials, just you, your imagination, passion and pure talent! So happy to debute my Glinda "one short day" at a con tomorrow ! The perfect cosplay for the mild winter we have here in the south of France! For once I won't be freezing and feel cosy in my wool outfit! I'm still working on the sewing pattern release and the sleeve's grading is making me crazy!!!
