Finally starting this, and im honestly super excited. I come across so many incredible tracks that end up getting lost over time. This space is where i’ll keep them to revisit, remember, and share. So to kick things off, here’s a recent discovery i’ve been obsessed with it’s been on repeat nonstop. Toxy Kated – Criminal Electro – Santa Cata Records – SCR007 A1 - Criminal Electro A2 - Kitty Kat B1 - Cinematik B2 - Tempo Time The EP functions as a manifesto: raw, synthetic, and totally focused on the underground aesthetic of the early 2000s. The sound is built on dry beats, aggressive basslines, and electronic textures that evoke an urban atmosphere and a certain air of clandestinity. It’s an album more concerned with creating sensations than melodies, designed for the dance floor, for immersion, and for that more industrial side.
