A single moment watching the moon, the pure ring of a singing bowl, the quiet of a tree, the sun on my skin, the moment of watching my sleeping baby - it’s all magic. It’s all sacred. SOUNDING POSTCARD — TRAVELING HANDPAN (Part 5)
Albania 🇦🇱 — the first days were grey, rainy and challenging.
The sky heavy, the mountains hidden and I created this somewhat dark beat on a C# Pygmy by @sela_the_soul_of_sound .
Sometimes that’s exactly how a journey begins.
People welcomed us with open hearts - especially when things felt gloomy.
Traveling is always a journey to others and to yourself.
Then the light and ease slowly returned.
The sun. The smiles.
The sound turned out a bit different from how I usually play Handpan - but that’s what felt right in those darker first days.
Challenges bring new rhythms and melodies into life.
From darkness to warmth.
From challenges to solutions, strength and to emotion. 🌦✨

Albanien 🇦🇱 — die ersten Tage grau, regnerisch, herausfordernd.
Der Himmel tief, die Berge verborgen und ich hab diesen etwas düsteren Beat auf der CPygmy von Sela gebaut…
Doch manchmal ist genau das der Anfang.
Menschen empfingen uns mit offenen Herzen, gerade dann, wenn es düster war.
Reisen ist eine Reise zu sich selbst und zu anderen.
Und dann kamen das Licht und die Leichtigkeit zurück.
Die Sonne, das Lächeln. Der Sound etwas anders als ich sonst Handpan spiele, aber ich fühlte diesen Beat in diesen ersten dunkleren Tagen. Herausforderungen bringen neuen Rhythmus und Melodien ins Leben.
Von Dunkelheit zu Wärme. Von Herausforderungen zu Lösungen, Stärke und zu Gefühl. 🌦✨

🇺🇸Traveling brings so many new impressions - connections to new people, different cities and cultures, challenging moments, that can be both exciting and overwhelming. In all that movement, I always feel so deeply, how much I need those peaceful pauses in nature with music.
Playing my handpan always brings me back to my inner calm when the world around me gets too loud. I’m endlessly in love with this instrument and beautiful nature and so grateful to carry it with me wherever I go.

🇩🇪Auf Reisen gibt es so viele neue Eindrücke - Verbindungen zu neuen Menschen, andersartige Städte und Kulturen, Situationen, die aufregend und überwältigend sein können. In all dieser Dynamik spüre ich immer, wie sehr ich diese stillen Momente in der Natur sowie die Musik brauche.
Das Spielen auf meiner Handpan bringt mich immer wieder zurück zu meiner inneren Ruhe, wenn es draußen laut und chaotisch wird. Ich liebe dieses Instrument so sehr und bin unglaublich dankbar, es auf meinen Reisen dabeizuhaben.
