“I remember when we filmed this scene with Adult Dottie and her Grandma, and how intimate and moving it was.
Each time we did a take, the room would get so quiet (as it should), but it was a really intimate kind of quiet. Like we all felt we were witnessing an incredible moment and we didn’t want to disturb, you know?
I really enjoyed working with the actor who played Mama. She had such grace about her, she really embodied the role.”
