Crazy to look back on these walls now and realise how much time has passed.
Different era, different styles, but these were the types of productions that helped shape everything that came after.

Laying down the foundations of a graffiti piece. Starting with rough linework and composition to map out the flow of the letters before layering in detail and colour.
This stage is where the balance of the wall starts to take shape working with the scale of the space, the surrounding environment and the movement within the design to build something that feels connected to place rather than just painted onto it.
Always one of the most important parts of the process.
One of the rare times i do letters. Cheers for @cool_combo_one for chasing this wall for so long. 6 months until he got the approval to paint it. Great to have got to paint with these legends.

The best writers in Australia were displayed in the show as well as attended that night.
Great having a show that was purely just graffiti. If only we could have more exhibitions like this and have graffiti appreciated the same way as murals are looked at these days.
