When I worked on the Limitless, Tom used to always talk to “Bag” on the radio. He owned the Fury and Marcus was his second captain then. Bag retired, and Marcus bought the boat several years ago now. Christian, my brother, also worked on the Fury. There is a soft spot in my heart for the boat.

We created a 5x8’ banner with an illustration coming into the cove on the east end. You can see pyramid head right above the bait tank. Simplifying the banner art down, we were able to make art for soft goods as well. Thank you Marcus, I know you will have a great season!

New gear for Catalina Xtreme Parasailing coming down the line. David reached out and wanted to make some new gear. Instead of creating two seperate graphics, one for parasailing and one for fishing, we smashed them together.

Samson Sportfishing runs out of Depoe Bay, Oregon. Depoe Bay is the smallest harbor in the world! The entrance to the harbor is extremely sketchy to say the least. We illustrated the targeted species in the boat graphic. Made a badge that ended up being embroidered on the left chest of some hoodies, and turned into a woven patch for headwear.

Bark and Branch specializes in landscaping for the highest end homes in Orange County. They use massive cranes to drop in large trees and other environmental assets. I got a chance to go drop the shirts off to him, and when he described how they got the trees into the property it was astonishing. Thanks Palmer

God put on a flesh suit, and beared the weight of my sins and was killed by hanging on a cross. Why? He did so to break the curse of sin that entered the world by Adam and Eve. This actually happened! He rose from the dead, and the curse was broken to those who believe and continue in the faith until the end. Apart from this, no peace exists. I tried everything. Drugs, partying, surfing, fishing, filling myself with any and all the things that the world told me would fix it. These work for a moment but do not last. But there is One who paid it all for you. I’m not special. I just reached the end of my rope, and Jesus was the only thing left.

Pacific Coast Sportfishing Show 2026!
What a sick weekend this was for me. In 2023 I got the opportunity to make the art and graphics for the PCS show. Last year I wasn’t able to make it because I was so sick but this year brought a whole new level of excitement and appreciation for what I get to do, and who I get to do it with.
@leftcoastnovelties made me a ton of Sekas Design hats, and I got to give them out to old friends, groms, and a whole host of new friends. I can’t thank Mike enough for embroidering tons of product for me.

It was so cool to see t graphics, banners, flyers, and booths that had my illustrations on them. What a tight knit community the fishing industry is, and I’m proud to be a part of it to any degree.
Also I got to sit down with Drew from Bait Tank podcast and talk briefly about my history with art as well as fishing.

The last frame, we were on the way home the second night and pulled up to a stop light. There were 5-8 young lads that pulled up next to us… we unloaded a couple handfuls of hats to them and they were frothing.
Great weekend, and I’m excited for what’s ahead.
The 2026 Beach Haven Tuna Open is going down in a few months. The boat who won the tournament in the previous year gets featured in the graphic for the following year. Who’s gonna end up in next years graphic?
