I saw grass in my sleep while I was painting this one. Center is the landscape inside with rope surrounded by green and orange grass tiles. #sejongeepaints #contemporary_art #contemporarypaintings #surrealism #contemporarysurrealism

We had a blast celebrating the final day of The Way of Nature: Art from Japan, China, and Korea! 🎉 Thank you for helping us close out this exhibition that featured East Asian artworks reflective of the region’s long-standing view of human life as intertwined with nature. And a special thanks to @koreaculturedc for collaborating on last weekend’s event, plus Washington Samulnori and artist and scientist Se Jong Cho (@sejongee ) for sharing your talents. 🌿 Learn more about our Turn Again to the Earth environmental initiative at artbma.org/earth. . 📷 Photos by Maximilian Franz (@photomaxllc )
