Happy 2026, union family! As we continue our work to improve long-term care jobs and advance justice in our communities, we celebrate our moments of power and victory in 2025. Here’s to another year of solidarity, joy, resilience, and collective action!
SEIU 2015 members are joining working people across the country to tell Congress to get their priorities in order. Our tax dollars should go to making our healthcare more affordable, not funding cruelty and White House ballrooms. Call 800-719-0332 and tell your representative to "VOTE NO" on Reconciliation. No more funding for ICE cruelty.
May is Mental Health Awareness Month 💚 Be kind to yourself and others—you never know what someone is carrying. Swipe right for simple ways to care for your mental health.

Hey Union family! Our May 20th Care Worker Day of Action is almost here! Thousands of us are gathering in Sacramento to speak with one voice and say: Care is a California Value. Together, we’ll demand legislators reject budget cuts to care programs and remind everyone what purple power looks like!
The deadline to sign up is midnight tonight. Click the 🔗 link in our bio to RSVP.
Thank you SEIU Local 2015 for inviting me to speak at tonight’s AANHPI Heritage Celebration. 💜
It was an honor to celebrate Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander heritage alongside the workers, caregivers, families, and community leaders who continue to strengthen Sacramento every single day.
As someone born in India and raised in an immigrant family, this month is personal. It reminds me of the sacrifices our families made, the cultures we carry forward, and the responsibility we have to make sure every community has a voice at the table.
A special thank you to the caregivers of SEIU 2015. Your work is essential. You care for our elders, our disabled loved ones, and the people who built the lives so many of us now live. That work deserves dignity, respect, fair pay, and real support.
Our AANHPI communities are not monolithic. We are immigrants, refugees, workers, small business owners, parents, students, caregivers, and leaders. Tonight was a reminder of the power we have when we come together, celebrate our roots, and continue fighting for a future where every family can thrive.
Happy AANHPI Heritage Month. 💜

Small businesses support Prop D!
Federal cuts are taking away essential public services from our neighborhoods and commercial corridors. Prop D is the only solution. Prop D only applies to the largest corporations with at least $1 billion in revenue, 1,000 employees, and CEOs that make 100 times their average worker’s salary.
Prop D does not tax small businesses, homeowners, or you!
“Small businesses rely on vital city services like street sweeping, trash pickup, and community ambassadors. Prop D will fund these services without raising our taxes.” — Justin Dolezal, Co-Owner of Bar Part Time

On Saturday May 2, the labor movement lost a true ally and friend, Mayor Santos Garcia from the City of Madera. He spent decades supporting labor unions, working families and his work will forever be recognized as a true pillar to the Madera community.
Rest in Power, Mayor Garcia.
