Urgent Care Doesn’t Take Holidays🎄 While many celebrate Christmas with family, Sydney Eye Hospital is performing life-saving trauma surgeries. “Trauma is extremely challenging for eye doctors,” explains Professor Andrew Chang. “It’s unpredictable, and the ongoing issues last a lifetime. Early diagnosis and treatment are essential to saving the sight of patients with severe trauma.” 🎥 Watch Professor Chang recall the moment he first met Brook. Your support helps Sydney Eye Hospital be there when it matters most. 👉 Donate now to support trauma care: See Linktree in bio. 💙 Send an e-card to honour someone special while helping others see: See Linktree in bio. #SydneyEyeHospital #TraumaCare #EyeHealth #EmergencySurgery #SupportHealthcare #DonateForSight #ChristmasCare #HealthcareHeroes #VisionAwareness #LifeSavingSurgery

One moment changed everything for Brook. At just 24, a night out with friends turned into a fight to save her sight after a violent glassing incident. 🎥 Watch Brook’s story and see why timely access to specialist trauma care is so critical — especially during the festive season. This Christmas, we’re launching the Trauma Fellowship Program to train the next generation of ophthalmologists in urgent and complex eye injury care. With your support, more patients like Brook can receive life-changing treatment when they need it most. 💝 You can help by giving a gift that truly matters: 👉 Make a donation to support trauma care — see linktree in bio. 👉 Send a Gift of Sight e-card to honour someone special — see linktree in bio. 📖 Learn more about Brook’s story — see linktree in bio. #givesomethingthatmatters #impact #traumacare #SEHF #vision #sydneyeyehospitalfoundation #eyecare

We’re delighted to announce Virginia Trioli as MC for Seeing into the Future, Sydney Eye Hospital Foundation’s fundraising dinner. An award‑winning journalist and one of Australia’s most respected interviewers, Virginia brings intelligence, warmth and cultural insight to every conversation. Many will recognise Virginia from her roles as co‑host of ABC News Breakfast, presenter of Lateline, and host of ABC Radio Melbourne’s Mornings — and more recently as the host of Creative Types with Virginia Trioli on ABC iview. Her recent interview with visionary filmmaker George Miller, who will also be joining us on the night, explores creativity, curiosity and the drive to imagine what comes next. We look forward to an inspiring evening as Virginia leads the event, bringing us together to support access to Sydney Eye Hospital eye care for patients across NSW.
