This picture means the world to me.
Here I was, at the pinnacle of happiness. Everything that I had worked for perfectly came together in this beautiful moment. I was at my favorite place, playing music of my own making to the most dedicated people around.
Moments like this give power and purpose to my life. And just one look at this picture, in light of the COVID-19 situation, teaches me that I can never take them for granted. Never!
I couldn’t wait to see you guys again – to see your smiling faces in the utmost state of euphoria as your troubles melt away like they were never there in the first place.
But this summer, fate is simply not on our side.
I know you guys and I feel you guys. It sucks, and it’s completely fair to feel that way as an important part of our lives is being ‘locked up’ for months to come. But, I would like to show you a different perspective – a light on the horizon.
Just follow me and try to imagine all the new music being made as you’re reading this, along with fresh concepts growing in creative minds around the world RIGHT NOW, which might become the most groundbreaking events we’ve seen to date. Just think of all the new memories that we will make when this is all over.
In the end, we will return stronger than ever. More determined than ever. Giving up on this scene was never an option, simply because of what it means to us. We owe our endless allegiance to it, we owe our lives to it.
Until we stand shoulder to shoulder again, our shared love for music will outshine COVID-19.
