The feeling you get when you look out of the plane window knowing that your holiday begins now. When the pilot announced on the plane to look out the window for the views, itâs the most surreal and exciting sight to see when youâre about to land and youâve arrived at your holiday destination.

SHARE this with someone whoâs Irish.âď¸
Thereâs a new Chinese takeaway in Sydney that has taken the Irish community by storm. Itâs called @paddy.chans & it serves Chinese food-Irish style.
So I got Irish friends come along with me to experience an Irish tradition.
The setup of the shop and the menu is apparently like what you would find back in Ireland.
We ordered the munch box (which to our surpriseâŚ. came in a pizza box), and took it back to home to eat it.
The munch box was MASSIVE, and it consisted of chips (because it wouldnât Irish without potato), chicken balls, crispy chicken, bbq ribs, and spring rolls on a huge bed of fried rice.
It also comes with a curry and sweet and sour sauce which you pour all over the food.
If youâre expecting this to be authentically Chinese, youâll be disappointed, but if you want to experience Irish-style Chinese, then this if for you.

Thereâs always something to do in San Diego even as late as 1am in the Gaslamp Quarter. On my first night in @visitsandiego I stayed at Pali Hotel @palisociety in the heart of the Gaslamp Quarter. With me fighting jet lag the first night, I wasnât able to get to sleep, so I decided to go for a walk and ended up having a night out.

HOME STYLE KOREAN IN SYDNEY
Great for a midweek lunch, this recently opened spot has become my go to lunch spot if Iâm in the Surry hills area. Portions are generous with the average price between $17.50-$18.50. Run by 2 Korean aunties this place is one of the more authentic spots for Korean food in the inner city and is very unassuming and cozy looking on the outside but amazing with their bold, legit flavours.

HOW TO SPEND YOUR FIRST DAY IN SEOUL
First stop was an ATM, which sounds simple, but it took a few tries before I finally got cash out. Even though South Korea is fairly cashless, you need cash for a T Money card for getting around the city.
I kicked things off properly at Fritz Coffee, one of Seoulâs most loved cafes, with great coffee and pastries before heading straight to Gyeongbokgung Palace to watch the changing of the guard and explore the grounds.
For lunch, I went to a Michelin rated ginseng chicken soup spot, super comforting and perfect after all that walking.
Then it was off to Bukchon Hanok Village to wander through the traditional streets, followed by a peaceful stroll along Cheonggyecheon Stream, which youâve probably seen in K dramas.
I wrapped up the night with solo K BBQ in Myeongdong and finished with a sweet hot Korean pancake from the night market.
Save this for your next trip to Seoul.

When you come back from an epic trip to Japan and you start to romanticise the trains in Sydney like in Japan. Post holiday blues is a real thing.

Iâve seen many amazing landscapes and cityscapes out of the plane window in my lifetime but none as stunning as Mt Fuji. To see it from above is a perspective thatâs so unique and also brings up a whole bunch of emotions that I didnât think I had. Could just be the effects of being in a plane that always heightens emotions.

POV: You discover a cyberpunk version of the Gold Coast đŚđş that nobodyâs heard of yet.
This was a last minute unintentional stopover on my way back home from China and I have to say out of all the cyberpunk cities Iâve been to so far in China, this one in Qingdao stood out the most. The most beautiful and vibrant lights set over a beach backdrop with the clean salty air. First impression was that it looked like the Gold Coast in Australia. So I imagined what would the Goldie look like if it was lit up like this Chinese city?

BEST SUNRISE SPOTS IN SYDNEY (between April-August)
Reason why at this time of year is because of the sunrise position being more towards the north east during the late Autumn - Winter season. If you go to certain spots as mentioned here youâll get the best view and framing for this time of year.
This is the season where we tend to see a lot of colourful sunrises and as a bonus sunrises are now later as we get closer to winter.
Which is your favourite spot to watch the sunrise?

All it takes is some time away overseas & doing something touristy at home to appreciate how lucky we are to call đŚđş home
Iâve been away a lot this year and now craving some routine at home. However the grass is always greener and somehow I feel content for about 3 weeks until I get itchy feet again and wanting to travel. Do you get that too?
Also, how good is it that we get to use ferries as a mode of public transport in Sydney?
