For #LawèInConversation, we sat down with Bara (@seedless.soil ), an artist and dancer, to reflect on loss and the necessity of pause: Pause, for Bara, is not the absence of movement but a conscious breath. A comma in motion that allows presence to settle. Choosing to pause meant returning to a childhood dream of dancing, where stillness gives movement its contrast, intention, and depth. Loss is lived through slowly, without the need for immediate meaning. It is held gently through familiar places, quiet conversations, and time spent with friends. Healing comes not from urgency, but from allowing space to feel before understanding. THE LANDLORD'S GAME "Who is the Landlord?" 1 step, 3 steps, 1 step, 2 steps I've played. No, I've been played. 1 3 1 2 You've been played. 1 3 1 2 We've been played. "Who is the Landlord?" "Score keeper, deduct one life." One life, two lives, three lives, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten. Many people have played the cruel game. Ten of them were already taken off the board. And more to follow. Losing their life. Bidding their soul to the Landlord so they can be heard. So they can eat. Breathe. To live another day. But, who's the Landlord? You read the rules, 17 rules and 8 books. Memorized and learned every single word from the pages of the holy books. But, it's the Landlord's game. They'll forge the rules to their own will. If you ask, you'll lose. If you scream, you'll lose. If you don't conceal your truth, you'll lose. Even if you win, you'll still lose. You ask yourself, "What does the Landlord want? And who's the Landlord?" You ask yourself again, "Does it matter? Does my life matter to the Landlord? Am I just one of their pawns?" "What's my next move?" "Will I concede to them?" Will you? What's your next move?

Ghost Beneath My Shell 2025 2 minute 10 seconds A solo dance performance for Insypro Moves Recital Indonesia has experienced a gradual shift from the second quarter of 2024 to early 2025, primarily driven by the political landscape. This period has been marked by presidential and parliamentary elections, controversies surrounding military roles, intimidation targeting journalists, and discourse on history censorship. These interconnected phenomena affect and regulate our bodily rights, extending from physical necessities such as food to our private space, encompassing emotions and thoughts. Dance, throughout history, has had an inherent, profound relationship with the body and political power. Contemporary dance serves as a strong, non-verbal tool to demonstrate power that comes from a free body. There's been a tension between the richness of raw body expression and the rigid structure of institutions, challenging societal and artistic regulations. JINAN LAETITIA FOR MUSIC OF THE SPHERES WORLD TOUR IN SINGAPORE It was night time when suddenly the wind opened my window bedroom and danced around my room. The smell of pink hyacinths from my front garden also entered my teritory then decided to join the small steps of the wind. The aroma was sweet yet also left a spicy note in my memory. I trusted my sleepy feet to get close to the window. It was the Venus. She was sitting serenely on the shore while humming with the gentle wave. . . . . . Thank you to all of you, talented people.
