"SHOULD WE HAVE A FIRST LOOK?"
we get this question a lot. the answer is, well, it's really up to you and how you envision your perfect day. there are many factors to consider, and we won't lie, there are definitely some photo-related benefits to doing a first look before your ceremony.
a first look allows you to take most if not all of your formal pictures prior to the ceremony, letting you attend your cocktail hour and spend as much time with your people as possible. it also gives you a little extra time with your sweetheart on your wedding day and an opportunity to share personal vows in a more private environment. if you're getting married during a winter month when daylight is more scarce, a first look may be necessary if you'd like photos outside and/or pictures that utilize window light.
