In 2011 we had a tiny idea… What if growing wildflowers could be simple enough for everyone? Our gardens cover more land than all of the UK’s national nature reserves combined — imagine the impact if we filled them with native wildflowers. 🐝🌼 So we got to work. Two scientists in a small flat, mixing clay and seeds, testing species, going to shows, and slowly building something we believed in with our whole hearts. Seedball wasn’t a trend. It wasn’t a product built for a quick sale. It was a movement from day one — a way to give nature back a little of what it’s lost! We grew slowly, organically you might say :-) One conversation, one customer, one seedball at a time! Hello we’re Emily & Ana, the creators of Seedball – we want to fill the world with wildflowers and we’re starting with your garden! We’re on a mission to help increase the abundance of British wildflowers and wildlife that depend upon them. We believe that if we can all better use whatever space we have available to us (whether a back garden, balcony, window box, little patio etc) we can together have a hugely beneficial impact on our local ecosystems. The last 50 years has been witness to huge declines in pollinators and other garden wildlife, but together we can really really do something to reverse this. For us we want Seedball to inspire a wildlife gardening revolution while providing a very handy way of going about it!

Create a wildflower wonderland 🌸🥰 Seedballs have been created by Conservation Scientists to make growing wildflowers from seed simpler. Seedballs are their own mini ecosystem, protecting seed from birds, ants and slugs and giving them the nutrition they need to have a head start. With Seedballs you dont have to have any gardening expertise. There is no need to propagate the seed, or even plant it! Just pop on top of soil, water and watch grow! Each Seedball has up to 100 seeds, a mixture of species suited to different conditions.
