“Thuma Mina”, a phrase widely recognised in Southern African expression meaning send me, carries a powerful sense of purpose and offering. The artists translate this sentiment into sound through layered percussion, immersive atmospheres and a steady groove that reflects the emotional depth often associated with Afro House.
Omir Kai, Section Five and Khalu Kao each contribute a distinctive musical perspective, resulting in a production that feels both cohesive and expansive.
