Member spotlight #3: this week we’re happy to introduce you to @therealbrak “Hi, my name is BRAK, I'm a R&B beatmaker and sound engineer based in Switzerland and Paris. My productions are ambient, nocturnal, and melancholic. My biggest influences are Partynextdoor, The Weeknd, and Lithe. I started making music with beats in 2017, producing for artists in my city. In 2020, I opened my recording studio and I started to learn mixing and mastering. The latest tracks I've worked on are: Reedlevyy - Show me love (@reedlevyy ) Wunnad - Mauvais garçon (wunnad) Damla - Do It (@damlartiste ) I want to be more than just a beatmaker. Today, I produce my own songs by inviting artists to perform on my beats and releasing the single under my own name. What I enjoy the most about music is working with the artists directly in the studio. For me, human connection is the best way to create good songs. This week, we’re proud to feature @leja.fm ! “Hey everyone 🛸 I’m Leja – Artist, songwriter, and producer from Estonia. Music has always been my way of telling stories, and over the past years I’ve been experimenting with different sounds and collaborations 🤍 Here are some of my tracks so you can get to know my sound: 🌙 To The Moon – a late-night vibe, alternative R&B piece I made with my friends FGH (@prodbyfgh ) and Coullin (@this.is.coullin ) 🔥 Twin Flame – a mix of pop, hip hop, and R&B, created together with Estonian producer Umaze (@eritczsh ) 💫 Every Time – a pop & garage inspired track featuring Estonian artist and my best friend IVI (@ivi.www ), produced by Stiven (@prodbystivn ) from the Netherlands. This week, we’re proud to feature @kr1s.ahl a 21 years old music producer from Germany ! “Heyyy, I’m Kris — a 21-year-old music producer (@kr1s.ahl ) from Germany/ New Jersey. I don’t just make beats and samples, but also create and release my own songs under @dear.kahl . This past year has been crazy — stressful but exciting. From joining secret.audio, meeting my idols to producing and writing songs, it’s been a journey. What started as a simple song contest in the secret.audio community actually turned into my first official single release: Ocean – kahl. One thing I’ve come to realise is that we’re really products of what surrounds us. I try to always stay the “dummy in the room” — it’s easier said than done, but I believe if you leap, the net will appear. I’ve got some exciting music on the way: like my close friend @lkcspaceboy single coming soon, produced by me and @J2k with the help of @seniahhhh sample, who I met through secret.audio.
