We’ve been sharing how Seco teams around the world marked #WorldSafetyandHealthDayatWork, and today, we’re rounding off our global highlights with Germany and France.
🇩🇪 In Germany, there was a strong wellbeing focus which complimented practical learning and life-saving skills. The team kicked off with a healthy breakfast initiative to highlight the link between nutrition, focus, and overall wellbeing, while also strengthening team connection. This was followed by hands-on fire safety training, giving employees the confidence to respond effectively in real-life scenarios. Plus, an intensive first aid training day, equipping participants with essential skills such as CPR, AED use, and emergency response, reinforcing that safety is built through knowledge, practice, and preparedness.
🇫🇷 In France, the team celebrated an impressive milestone of over 1,000 days without accidents at the Bourges production unit, while also delivering safety culture training for production employees. Refresher courses were carried out for occupational first aiders, part of a 70-strong team that renews its training every three years, ensuring readiness to respond when it matters most. The week also included testing exoskeletons in the warehouse to help reduce musculoskeletal risks and support employee wellbeing.

During our participation at the @indextraub Open House, we let innovation take shape quite literally by producing dices in a fully automated machine, where the entire process runs in one seamless flow.
With milling and turning products, we show how our tools work seamlessly with the machine, from first cut to finished part, without manual interruptions. This is where collaboration truly makes the difference - precision meets speed, and technology meets creativity.
Together with partners, we keep pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in modern machining.
Trying the C5141 Endmills, which are described by Seco as a core option(budget i think that means) well, they got a budget price but I was quite impressed with their performance. I would def recommend these endmills for roughing and seems to be very cost efficient 😁 also SIRA coating💪

We recently showcased how Seco was celebrating #WorldSafetyandHealthDayatWork across the globe. Today, we’re highlighting more of these workplace commitments that took place in the UK and Italy, last week.
🏴 In the UK, the team marked the week with a range of safety and wellbeing activities, from refreshing core safety knowledge and completing emergency spill response training, to taking a mindful wellbeing walk to support mental health. The week also included a mock evacuation drill to reinforce emergency procedures, and concluded with interactive defibrillator training to build confidence in responding to critical situations.
🇮🇹 In Italy, the week was marked by public recognition from Regione Lombardia and local health authorities, highlighting Seco Tools Italy’s commitment to workplace health and safety. Alongside this achievement, the team continued training on confined spaces and electrical safety. There was also a practical emergency exercise involving a hazardous chemical scenario, with a focus on proper use of personal protective equipment, supported by the active involvement of the Workers’ Safety Representative.
There have been so many events worth recognising that we still haven't been able to share everything, so there's even more to come soon!
Sn8 Helical cutter gets to work💪😁. Why not full depth of cut? Well I needed to go deeper than what the cutter allowed which ment i need to make 2 passes so instead of one pass is 95% of the depth i mad them 50 this also made the programming part quicker 🙂
