A coworker suggested I try shooting, something I had zero interest in at the time and no experience with. I didn’t even own a gun. After being introduced to action shooting, I figured I’d give it a shot as it looked fun.
Long story short, I’m hooked.
What started as trying something new turned into finding something I can work toward again, learning, competing, making mistakes, improving, and having fun along the way. I’m documenting the journey as it happens and seeing where it leads.
#uspsa match at prmpc. Illegal starts, failure to feed, deltas, misses, drama and more. Hotter than hell, had an absolute blast with the boys! Awesome squad will make even the crappiest day shooting great.
Shoot house victory tonight. A good bit of cleaning up to do, but had an absolute blast tonight sending it with the boys. Packed house tonight at the @alamorange . Time 14.99 with a 6.27 HF.
Wednesday morning Manny’s Action Steel. Had a blast today, best set of six to date and absolutely loving it. Focused on shooting with a purpose and not just ripping the trigger. Still a ton of learning and progress to be made. #p211
Over loading my mag caused it to not feed one on the barney load, lesson learned. I promise I’m going to stop shooting like this sooner than later. Finally moved up from my 365 to a full sized pistol and I’m loving ittttt.
Mosh pit of clips making myself look way better than I actually am. Picked up my first pistol, p365 with a radian setup in October. Today, I purchased a full sized pistol and I can’t wait to start getting dialed in with the 2011 setup. Side note, didn’t love this song, but the gun shot lined up perfect with the single bonus plate shot and I had to keep it.
Rainy Wednesday Mannys action steel. Had a great time, even when I was trying to tiptoe around the water holes the whole time. Managed to keep the shoes dry for the most part till the last stage. Lesson learned, I need to bring another pair of shoes if I plan on working after shooting a hour from the house.
One run and one run only, everybody knows the rules. Sucked hard with the pistol, but threw down a decent single run with the #ar22 setup. Awful mag change as well as location, this should have been at a minimum in the 17s.
