2025 NEW YEAR NEW JORDAN (late post)
this is like 2 years n change on estrogen now, i changed my name (again) i QUIT SMOKING and embraced a million and one awesome things thats happened to me. im the best ive ever been at my career in screen printing, the first band ive really been proud of wholesale is off the ground and growing after so much work, ive begun to build the next dream band and im taking part in even more collaborative projects. for fun im learning how to skateboard and started writing too. this year has proven to me that i have really transitioned into the person i dreamed i would be as a kid, and theres a whopping amount of gratitude that comes with that. i love the life i lead and the people in it that i do awesome shit with. i look back at the person i was a year ago and see my current self as a stronger, happier, and more fully content person.
as always tho, theres no good without bad, the biggest of which is suffering nearly a year long abusive relationship. id rather not get into it on social media, but i have unfortunately learned the hard way that you are never too smart or strong to never be take advantage of again. more than this deal i went through personally, ive had to cut ties with alot of people. an unfortunate reality ive had to contend with is that there are abusers and downright sick and selfish people way closer to home than you want to admit, and sometimes theyve done that damage to your community for so long before you even see that it happened. my hope is always for restorative justice, noone should be killed, but ive seen an alarming amount of friends platform and support people who endanger their surrounding communities. no consequence breeds no conscience. offer people the love they need to grow out of hurting people, but ask yourself if youre doing the right thing by putting habitual pieces of shit in places they can abuse, ask if theyve learned a lesson or not, and what it takes to get them there.
to end on a kinda positive note, i love the world around me, even if its scary, i wouldnt be alive if it wasnt for all the awesome people in my life. music from bands soon, never kys, one million memories everyday forever.
