In the aftermath of the Ireland v Italy game in the 6 Nations, the IRFU announced that it was investigating racist abuse on social media aimed at Edwin Edogbo. But do these posts reflect where we are as a society and did they receive appropriate media coverage?
We decided to take a much closer look at the abusive comments in question to try and understand some of the larger forces at play here. And the results, we think, were very interesting.
