New dad lore unlocked Solo hiked the Fagaras mountians range, climbed the highest mountain in Romania, nearly got mauled to death by a brown bear, met some lovely people, lived to tell the tale. I think the thought of seeing a full grown brown bear jump out at you, from the bushes when your on your own half way up a mountain, may live rent free in my brain for the rest of time. When I said I wanted to see a bear, I didn’t mean THAT close, so close I could smell what it had for dinner. (I’m guessing berries?). I’m glad to have learnt the skills necessary to handle that situation well and still be on this earth today. Also thankyou to pachamama for having my back! Looking back all I see is how beautiful of a sight it was to see a brown bear and a cub freely roaming this earth, so close, and the experience showing me to make the most of every second because you never know when a bear might appear in your life! The absolute beauty of this incredible place is hard to fathom, I’ve seen a lot of mountains, and been to a lot of beautiful places, but this hike has to be one of my favourites ever, the tranquility and lush greenery, the jaggeder peaks and stunning views this place had it all. This was not even a quarter of my crazy adventure through Romania, making a video about it and will post more soon 🫶🏽

The juxtaposition of life 🌋🪇🏂 Lately I’ve found myself balancing my immense addiction to mountain climbing and my sudden love of electronic music with the colossal expectations and difficulties with adult life. Oh yea and now I’m bald.

Connecting with Pachamama 🌲⛰ This hike and experience was inspirational, it allowed me to connect with my surroundings like never before and with my inner spirituality. I actually have a little story: we had just hiked to the sun gate before Machu Picchu itself, the first viewpoint of the amazing structure. It was extremely wet on the climb and often you couldn’t see anything at all. As we got to the top and to the viewpoint the clouds were completely covering the view and all I could see was grey. Through the the walk I had already been meditating at viewpoints and connecting myself with Pachamama. I then chose to meditate here, because what better place is there to do so… I’m doing controlled deep breathing for about 10 minutes with my eyes closed. And when I opened my eyes the clouds began to clear and the sun appeared and soon enough I was able to see Machu Picchu in all its glory. Since then I’ve felt more connected to Mother Nature than ever before. Thankyou Pachamama :) The final picture is of me in the condor temple, and as some of you may know I wear a condor on my neck everyday to remind me of where I came from and where I’m going… the condor in Quechua culture is the path to a new life.

Spring days out 🖼️✨ Me in a tree… makes a change. Making the most of any and every opportunity I get to soak up the sun and marvel at the luscious green spaces scattered across the uk, before I take on another giant new adventure and my surroundings are flipped on their heads, literally.

Weekend in the peaks ⛰️🌿✨ Weekend full of wonderful memories, from nights in hotel Pedro, to sketchy treks on exposed rock, to getting silly in many a cave and flute tunes on the mountain. Another top class trip with @edzchandler ✨ It’s crazy how even a couple days away from it all in nature can affect one’s mood and outlook. I feel so at home on a mountain, I can’t wait for my next grand adventure!

25 🌅✨🦕 Last year felt like 10 years all crammed into one, so much happened in a year that’s supposed to be my ‘chill year’ back in the uk. So much happiness and so much sadness, real mixed bag really. Another year of meeting more wonderful people, sharing experiences, and growing as a person. If each year had a name, I recon I’d call this one the year of the bongo, for the music I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying this year through the countless raves and festivals, for the time I spent alone (often bongo in hand or up a tree) and for the time together. I also fought off a bear this year that, defo wasn’t on the bingo card. Climbed quite a few mountains considering I was marooned in the uk and not in the Andes like previous years. Notable summits: Crib Goch in the snow, Moldoveanu the highest peak in Romania, kinder scout up the grade 3 scramble, Fairfield with a torn trap, then sleeping in a cave with the boys and many more. Traveled to 5 countries too, wales, Spain, Scotland, Romania and Bulgaria, with plenty more on the horizon. Overall this year I’ve appreciated every little moment, especially after seeing all my moments flash through my mind as I came face to face with a bear. All the time with friends and family, times enjoying lovely food, drink and music, and enjoying the birds tweeting in the trees and leaves blowing in the wind, just life really. Finally it may look like life was all lovely dubby through social media, you only get to see the good parts. But really this year has been one of the hardest, filled with so much pain, so bad I even lost myself for a while, but I’m so thankful for all the amazing people in my life, and for all the lessons I’ve learnt along the way. Im very excited for what 2026 holds for me, see ya down under!

Lakes with da bois 🧗🏽🏕️🌅 What a crazy adventure, summoning my inner cave man for this one. Starting out climbing up to a cave on the side of a cliff (called priests hole), spending the night watching the sunset and moonrise having started a fire and cooked up a storm. To traversing down and hitching a ride with some lovely locals back to my car so I can pick come pick up the boys. Then on the same day hiking up to angel tarn bongo in hand and camping out by the water enjoying foraged goods. Then waking up rather cold, and enjoying what could possibly be one of my most enjoyable views of my life (an INVERSION) ,and finally heading back to civilisation to have a HUGE Sunday roast. Allll with one working shoulder. Such a sick trip. Big love to Tim and Yas and the rest of the boys. And all the other amazing people I’ve met in the last year. Here’s to more mad adventures 😛

Summer 25 recap ✨🌿🌅 A summer to remember, filled with so many wonderful memories that will last a lifetime. From Edinburgh, to Buckingham palace, to camping trip with the boys, gemfest, to Romania and the endless dad lore that came with that adventure, Bristol, to on the beach festival, then the cherry on top BOOMTOWN. And still there’s more… carnival, boundary and one of my favourite camping trips to date in the Lakes. Then a birthday to remember filled with so many amazing people (although not technically summer anymore). Nuts I managed to squeeze all that in whilst also doing my post man tings. Lots I didn’t mention too! Going into summer I was not hopeful at all, filled with deep sadness like I’ve never felt before. Lost. Then something incredible happened! People happened. Started collecting them like Pokémon, everywhere I went meeting truly wonderful people sharing stories, laughs and skanks on the dance floor along the way. So grateful to everyone I’ve met on my many adventures:), including that brown bear and her cub in the Carpathian Mountains (what truly memorable chat that was) This summer also taught me a lot about what it means to be me, the person I am when no one is watching. Solo adventures in the wilderness, jamming with the bongo, meditating and just enjoying my own company. My journey has only just begun, but so grateful to be on the path I want to walk. Now to focus on the next chapter, the work I want to create and share. Now onto the next summer! Down under?

Boomtown 25 ✨ Another year another boomtown, my home away from home. Last year it taught me so much about what it means to be me and about sharing experiences with others. This year felt so different to the last. Embracing time alone and savouring time with others even if they’re complete strangers, life is about balance. So many side quests were completed this year, wondering around skanking at every opportune moment, meeting loads of new people and sharing memories with people of old. I don’t think I’ve ever smiled as much as I did all week, ear to ear for the vibes and musical vibes excellence. This year has my heart, onto the next 🤍

Romania you have my heart 🤍 From West to East in 16 days never stopping more than one day in each place until the very end. Methods of transport: on foot, unreliable trains, and the amazing people of Romania for the endless lifts I received! From bear attacks, to sketchy strolls through the middle of nowhere, way too much Moldovan wine, to my first taste of techno culture in Romania. This trip had it all!!! This journey taught me so much, about comfortability in one’s self, about the kindness of others and about the impact we can all have on eachother through personal interaction. I met soooo many lovely people, and shared so many interesting stories, thankyou to everyone I had the pleasure of meeting :) I will be back!
