Scroll to see Brownie's transformation.
This scruffy adora-dude transferred from another shelter and was very fearful on arrival. It took some time, but now Brownie is frolicking in the yard with his close friends and working on his leash skills. The next step in his journey is finding a home where he can continue to build his confidence and GRADUALLY explore the world around him. Brownie is very playful with other dogs and would probably enjoy having a dog sibling in his new home.
Meet Sausage, a distinguished southern gentleman! This 10 year old low rider arrived at Seattle Humane in April on a transfer flight from Louisanna. He’s quickly become a volunteer favorite.
UPDATE: ADOPTED!!! ❤️🔥
It was love at first sight when I first met Peanut a couple weeks ago. This 9-year-old gentleman has the sweetest smile, a gentle nature, walks well on a leash, and is an all around feel-good type of guy. He’d love a treat-filled home where he can enjoy his golden years.
Tell a friend to tell a friend: Peanut is available for adoption at @seattlehumane and his new family can choose their own adoption fee! 🥜❤️🔥🐾

Have you ever looked at a dog and thought, "Wow, their neck is way too long"? Welp, that won't be a problem with Archie.
This 3-year-old, very handsome boy may be built like a linebacker, but he is a sensitive soul. Archie is struggling with kennel life and has a hard time presenting his best self here on campus. Like many other shelter dogs, Archie needs just one person to give him a chance. The stressed boy you see on campus will be a different dog at home.
That’s right, every single dog featured in this video is available for adoption right now at Seattle Humane.
No matter what age you’re looking for, we bet you’ll find a match 🐾

Check out some highlights from a recent field trip our volunteers enjoyed with Butterscotch and Pirata!
Butterscotch is a one-year-old Chinese Shar-Pei mix who is described as the perfect walking partner. He is a social butterfly who enjoys other dogs but would feel most comfortable in a home without cats or other small animals.
Pirata is a six-month-old mixed breed pup who is already learning fast. He is comfortable in a crate overnight and is eager to show affection to his people, including teens.
Both of their new families can name their own adoption fees!

Adoptable, Seattle Humane pup, Kringle on field trip. He is. 2 y.o. Boxer mix. He is sensitive and gentle. Can get scared with new people and places. But he has lots of love and kisses to give.
He knows ‘sit’ and will play fetch. He will even curl up in the passenger seat and be your copilot.
Can you be his soft landing spot?

Different week, same Carl 🌯
1. Post sweet treat coma cuddles
2. Reading night (Carl reads the back of his eyelids)
3. Sleeping after a hard days work of sleeping.
4. Carl shows off his power stance
5. You might think this was an action shot but he just stood like this for quite some time, pondering something (nothing)
6. Enjoying an invisible snack
Carl is available for adoption through Seattle Humane
