- You're a professional wildlife photog and have sold a few shots in the office because your coworkers spouse is a "birder" and they will love that shot of the owl on someone's roof
- You will spend 10 days shooting the same bird/animal taking a minimum of 10,000 photos

- You have already shot the Owl babies, Osprey in the harbor, Falcons at PV and Fly Catchers nest in 2026
- You become a "Surf" photographer when the US Open is in HB or that monster swell show up at Wedge
- You cannot hike to find wildlife but will push your baby stroller filled with $75,000 of gear across the parking lot to shoot those Burrowing Owls that live on the curb
- You are part of "The Mafia" but don't really understand how that relates to photography groups
- You cannot wait for the Tern photographer to post his first sets of diving terns to go join the crowd of 50 others doing the same thing
- You cannot just sit on something special and have to post to ebirds and social media within 1 minute of taking a photo so that you are the first to find it
- Question everyone as to how they found your secret spot (see above to understand why)
- You wear camouflage in The Bolsa Chica Wetlands
- You wear a floppy hat AND a fly fishing vest to Central Park
- You are offended by any or all of the above
