This iconic London seafood spot has hosted everyone from Dua Lipa to Madonna, & after eating here, I get the hype. @seashellrestaurant
Everything is cooked fresh to order, the seafood tastes incredibly fresh, & the octopus bar in the middle of the restaurant was super cool! 🐙.
We started with a gorgeous glass of wine alongside grilled king prawns in buttery lemon sauce. The calamari starter was absolutely massive & moreish.
For mains, I went for the crispy fried cod & swapped the fries for halloumi fries (massive portions!). My mum ordered the whole grilled seabass with buttery baby potatoes, cooked perfectly.
Desserts were the perfect finish; a warm homemade apple pie & a gooey chocolate fondant 🍎🍫.
Such a lovely spot for fresh seafood in London.

If you’re looking for a place to eat in Marylebone I highly recommend The Seashell of Lisson Grove! We headed there for Fish & Chips after our recent trip to Hamleys on the weekend and it was just fabulous! I was excited as I know they’ve welcomed celeb guests like Dua Lipa, Ed Sheeran and Demi Moore so I knew we’d be in for an extra special treat! The fish is received fresh and chilled every morning and is sourced responsibly, never frozen. We tried the cod, plaice and haddock and you can definitely tell the quality from the first flaky bite. They use fresh British potatoes to create the most delicious chips that are cooked to perfection. Check out their menu for a mouthwatering selection of appetisers, starters, salads, main courses, sides, desserts and drinks, a fab restaurant to check out next time you’re in the area!
