A video I made was just launched, and I’m excited to finally share it!
My client
@emecochairs asked my second-camera op
@seano_type and I to their factory in Hanover, PA to capture the various processes that go into making an Emeco chair. We spent three days shooting the ins and outs of their manufacturing processes. This is a small snippet of what we saw.
We wanted to highlight the true craftsmanship into every chair they make- even though some very high-tech machinery is used to craft these chairs, it takes skilled human hands to make them. Real people, real materials, real skill.
It’s always inspiring to watch skilled craftspeople create something from its composite parts or materials.
Check out this little observational documentary and meet the makers behind Emeco chairs.
Plus, I’ve gotta say, it’s pretty cool to work on fire on set. Shooting Tim in the silver fire proximity suit was a lot of fun!
Again, thank you to Sean for helping capture some great shots, Emeco for asking me to help tell your story, the workers for letting us into your work space, and to
@anna_gunilla and
@lovisagrundberg for guiding this project.
