Priority mail labels were our go-to for DIY stickers coming up. We’d grab as many as we could from the post office and head to Andy’s basement, where we’d go through the stack until the sharpies dried out. While we eventually outgrew slaps, I thought it’d be fun to revisit the old format with a new approach — ‘cause nostalgia, ya know?

Some selects from an article I put together for issue #80 of @skatejawn . “Life After Shortys” - a decade-long retrospective of the DIY Skate scene in Newark NJ. The article features a bunch of behind the scenes photos and an interview with @obituary_camo_hat . If you didn’t get a chance to get a physical copy, the digital version is now live on their site via the link in my BIO.
Too many folks to shout out from over the years but props to everyone who helped out (while I stood around telling jokes). Additional photography from @colinsuss@andyenos@kodak_maxx .
Me and @seanbcoates collaborated on a roll of film to document our Catalina Island excursion. Had tons of fun on and off our bikes, in front of and behind the camera. Also broke my personal record for the most elevation biked in the shortest amount of time (still not that impressive but I’m feeling strong). We made some bison friends. I gave this trip a 10/10 💪👯♀️
