We thought now was a good time to properly introduce ourselves! ❤️
We started in October 2024 after a trip to the Isle of Man and a chance visit to a beach sauna. After having fallen in love with sauna-ing we decided that Beaumaris would be a perfect location for one of our own.
As a team we’re made up of some locals and some ‘out-of-towners’ but we all call Anglesey and Beaumaris home so providing jobs and bringing local people together was an important part of our business model.
What started as a way of keeping some of our seasonal @seacoastsafaris staff employed and giving us something to do during the cold winter months when the boats stop running has become a year round operation!
The sauna itself started life down in South Wales with Barrel Sauna UK, making sure that our sauna was made here in Wales was always a priority. Our first location was a tiny patch of land on the way into Beaumaris over looking the Menai Strait and the mountains of Snowdonia / Eryri National Park. Our site consisted of the sauna, a couple of footbaths and a wind breaker. We then custom made our cold plunge tank along with all our beautiful decking. However it was always our intention to change location so in April 2025 we moved a few hundred yards to the beach on the opposite side, with an equally fantastic view and still a 30 second walk to the water at high tide but now with a full site with fencing, free parking, somewhere for our team to sit, lots more decking and seating AND a wood fired hot tub! Phew!
We’ve now officially been operating for over a year and we are absolutely loving sauna life!

Meet Maria and Kevin!
Maria is our newest addition to the Seacoast family ❤️ Kevin can usually be found snoozing in her van 💤
👉 As well as running the sauna for us, Maria is also a qualified Breathwork Instructor 🧘♀️
Maria says, “Breathwork teaches functional breathing techniques to help breathe more efficiently in everyday life, supporting better energy, calm, sleep, focus and overall wellbeing.
In a session we explore nervous system regulation, breath awareness, and deep relaxation, finishing with a guided meditation. I can also give tips on how to deal with cold water swimming”.

Tonight’s Anglesey Weekly Walk took a slightly different route as the lads headed down to @seacoastsauna for an evening of sea dips, sauna sessions and good conversation.
A brilliant example of local groups coming together to create more spaces for men to switch off, connect and look after themselves in a simple, healthy way.
Cold water immersion and sauna therapy have been shown to help reduce stress, improve mood, aid recovery, improve circulation and give the mind a proper reset from the pressure of day to day life. Pair that with fresh air, the sea and good company and it’s easy to see why the lads left feeling better than when they arrived.
Massive thank you to Bryn for welcoming the group down and to Gav, as always, for leading the Anglesey walks week in week out 🤝

Sauna with a view!! Recently discovered this place after looking somewhere to escape too to rest and recover with my family. Absolutely love it. You can private booked it for 50 or 80 minutes or book into a shared session. Cold plunge and shower, outdoor seating. I’ll definitely be a regular here! @seacoastsauna

We all live so close to the sauna it’s less like a commute to work and more like heading out for a walk, especially when the conditions are like this ☀️
At low tide you can walk right along the beach from Beaumaris and be at the sauna in 10 minutes.
We’re also only a 10 minute drive from Menai Bridge so we’re perfectly located if you want to have a sauna as part of a day out.
Menai Bridge and Beaumaris are both full of lovely cafes, restaurants, shops and places to visit ❤️
