De brouwende bezoekers van @taproomdokbrewingco.gent zijn terug talrijk dit jaar. De volgende is het lijstje van lokale helden is @se10_brewing . Deze onafhankelijke brouwerij uit Hoboken staat vooral gekend om hun hazy IPA's. Sven Kerstens heeft een voormalig leven gehad bij Brewdog en leerde daar, en van vele andere Engelse collega's de kneepjes van het vak. Verwacht modern, authentiek en vooral heel hoppig craft beer.

Zondag 3 zetten we onze ketels en deuren wagenwijd open. Bier lokaal gebrouwen direct ban de bron. Samen met de vele collega's van de @blikfabriek doen organiseren we een opendeurdag in het kader van Atelier in Beeld.

Life in a real brewery. Last week we did a canning run of about 13000 cans. The supplier had delivered the wrong boxes 🙄 so 13000 cans were packaged in the wrong boxes 😑.
In my long and illustrous brewing career, I've come across many of these incidents. I've learnt a lot. Last week I calmly rang the director and explained the situation.
This week the supplier came back to re-pack these cans into the correct boxes.
Did I like this ? No. Do I have better things to do ? Absolutely. I've been working with this supplier for 3 years without issues. To establish long term partnerships, it is important to openly discuss potential solutions, come to an agreement, make sure it doesnt happen again, and move on.
