Raw clip/audio of North Course at Ebisu Circuit. It’s always your best laps you never catch on camera. This was early on for me in the day, I was being cautious in only taking the straight in second at the top of the hill, in a new car at a new course. The gearing in this car is also pretty long with I believe a 3:7 final drive. So taking 3rd up the hill seemed slightly intimidating with such a laggy turbo and essentially a stock car suspension wise. My fear was that I may initiate in 3rd with way too much wheel speed and over correct into the wall BUT I later became comfortable taking 3rd up the hill balls to the wall. I didn’t get nearly the footage or driving I wanted while at Ebisu Circuit because of a clutch that failed.
Tried my luck at Higashi later in the day but the clutch was too far gone to make any good entry there. I should’ve expected my clutch to go as it came with one from auction. Anyways, I hope you enjoy one of the only clips I got of drifting while in Japan. 💙

Not my best lap of the day but I had a chance to stick my camera on @chasebays GR86. Definitely some mistakes but I do intentionally break the course up into 2 sections drifting from turns 1-9 and re-initiating on the straight at turn 10-18. This is truly a special place nestled in the mountains of TN and as always it is a privilege to be able to drive this beautiful course. #jzx100
