It's been a week since the tour ended.
I won’t lie — it was far from perfect. Most people would try to paint the picture of a glamorous, dream-come-true moment, but I’ve decided to stay true to myself and to the people who are following my musical journey and are actually interested in the real story. More than anything, it was a learning experience. The experience varied a lot from city to city — some venues were full and supportive, others were empty and depressing. The event organization was all over the place, but that taught us how to adapt and overcome any and all difficulties related to live performance, travelling, or sleeping in difficult conditions.
In Amsterdam, we switched things up. I was able to do the first-ever SD Protocol show where, instead of DJing, I played cello and sang live. The reality didn't meet my expectations, and the conditions were rough, but I overcame a massive fear of singing in front of a crowd and made a giant step toward my vision of SD Protocol live performances for the future.
I want to thank my brothers
@stripeluca ,
@nicolasplbn , and
@prod.wallert , who in the end made this tour an incredible experience. No matter how hard it got at times, performing and travelling with them felt like a luxury because of how talented, fun, and hardworking they are. Whether the venue was empty or full, we gave our all at every performance and would do it happily all over again.
A massive thank you to everyone who made this tour possible -
@chiara_lcst for hosting us in London, everyone who came to any of the shows and all of our sound engineers who made us sound good (or bad).
I hope this will be the first of many.
