Upgrade in progress ☀️🚌
New solar-powered bus shelters are now up and running at select Barrio Logan stops, bringing more shade and comfort while you wait for your ride. These are the first four of forty-six stops that will be getting shelters.
Thanks for your patience during installation last week. All stops are back to normal service and ready to go.

🚧 Orange Line riders: we are gearing up for another Orange Line weekend closure. Here’s what you need to know to keep your trip moving. 👇
🚊 No Orange Line service between Courthouse Station and Massachusetts Avenue Station on May 16-17.
🚌 Bus shuttles will run between 12th & Imperial and Massachusetts Avenue. (Swipe to see the shuttle map for more details)
➡️ In downtown, use the UC San Diego Blue Line between America Plaza and 12th & Imperial or use the Green Line between Santa Fe Depot and 12th & Imperial
⚽ Heading to San Diego FC vs. FC Cincinnati on May 16 at Snapdragon Stadium? Green Line service will run normally with extra trains before and after the match.

This free, family-friendly event is packed with excitemen. From live Lucha Libre matches and hands-on crafts and games for kids to live entertainment on the Fiesta Old Town Mainstage. Plus, Old Town’s incredible restaurants and retailers will be ready to welcome you for a weekend of food, fun, and celebration.
Hop on the UC San Diego Blue Line or Green Line and ride directly to the Old Town Transit Center. You can also make it easy by using one of MTS’s convenient Park & Ride lots.

Upcoming weekend track closure 🚧
From April 25–26, track work is rolling in to improve a grade crossing. Here’s what to expect:
🚊 Orange & Green Line trains will stop at Grossmont Center
🚌 Free shuttle buses will connect you between Grossmont and El Cajon
🚊 Copper Line service will run as usual between El Cajon and Santee
Regular service will resume on Monday, April 27.
Riders going to the San Diego FC match on Saturday are encouraged to park at Grossmont or west on the Green Line. If parking at El Cajon or Amaya, please plan for extra travel time.

Meet the MTS Homeless Outreach Team, a dedicated group working on the front lines to support unsheltered individuals across the our system. What began as a small effort in 2021 has grown into a powerful network of partnerships making a real impact across the region.
Through a people-first approach, the team focuses on building trust and connecting individuals to critical resources like shelter, healthcare and social services.
