This was a pretty cool birthday gift! Thank you @yycmusicawards . This album is something I'm so proud of, and a lot of good friends and people had a part in it.
Yesterday we lost our dear Cloudy Cat. She made it to 17.
She came to us when our family had just broken apart and was so important to our healing, and for that I'm truly grateful.
Cloudy was a quiet cat who only really learnt to meow when she saw the attention her adopted brother, Tiger recieved. Her meow was rough and choppy, but became sweeter everytime she spoke.
When we lost Gracie last year, the void was immediately noticeable - Gracie had made her presence known through out the house. It's been different with Cloudy; her presence was discoverable, always dozing somewhere comfortable, to be found after opening a door or pulling out a chair. My mind still thinks she's probably found a sunbeam to stretch out under, or a heat register to curl up on top of, and I'll find her soon if I'm patient.
While she was known to chase us down when she wanted treats or scritches, she was also content enough to share the space, enjoying our company without need for more.
Thank you for sharing our space, my beautiful Cloudy Cat. Every sunbeam is yours.
