As we close out Year 1 with @sandiegofc , I’m filled with pride looking back at the incredible supporter culture we’ve built together.
As Manager of Supporter Relations, my mission has always been to create an inclusive community that reflects the heart and soul of San Diego. People of all genders, ages, and backgrounds. From day one, it’s been about bringing people together. It’s been about creating a space where you can feel a part of something bigger. I believe we have accomplished that.
Thank you to every fan, every supporter group, and every individual who helped us create something truly special. This is just the beginning, and I can’t wait for what’s to come. Say hola to Jerry! A proud Mexican American, he’s been building community with San Diego FC since day one from the first supporter meeting with just 10 fans to standing-room-only crowds at Snapdragon Stadium. His journey proves that in sports every path looks different, and persistence is what leads you to the right one. 🌟
Today marks 2 amazing years at @sandiegofc for yours truly. From working out of a home in Del Mar to moving into our headquarters and breaking ground on our performance center that now houses our academy. From having our first supporter meeting with 10 supporters in attendance to selling out the supporter section at Snapdragon Stadium with the help of an organized supporter’s union, Frontera SD. From having zero players to being atop the league. What an amazing adventure this has been so far. I can’t wait to see what other things this adventure brings. Azul y Chrome Por Vida. 💙 🩶
