Our partnership with MACS this year has been a great way to connect with the next generation! We’ve worked with the youth on clothing design/production and they’ve gained hands on experience screen printing and heat pressing.

Back to work with the @joshgibsonfoundation through their BOYS2MEN Mentorship program today. Last week we worked on screen printing and this week we discussed and practiced a different process called direct to film heat pressing. These free youth art classes are a pillar of DDS and are funded directly by us.
The youth learned the process and were able to press and keep their own t-shirts. Had a great time today working with the @joshgibsonfoundation through their BOYS2MEN Mentorship program. We talked about entrepreneurship and also went through the basics of screen printing, letting each of the students print their own ‘Pittsburgh’ graphic.
Projects like this are at the core of @DannyDevineStudio ’s mission - using Danny’s art and strong belief in mentorship to connect with the city’s next generation of students and artists. Thanks to everyone involved for the opportunity!
