Scholastic surf series season comes to a close with an incredible day at Oceanside harbor. So stoked on the performance of all our surfers and support of our parents and sponsors. Winning the overall regular season San Diego division 1,2,and 3 we knew we still had some work to do. Some serious heats going down with mens shortboard, men’s longboard, and women’s longboard all advancing to the final. Congrats to our MLB team for winning the state title by one point against San Clemente and also to our Men’s shortboard and girls longboard that both lost only by one point in the final Overall team points came up short by a point as well, ending up second in the state. NSSA STATE FINALS RECAP
What a weekend for our Surf Team! We had incredible weather all weekend — sunshine, warm temps, and picture-perfect skies — even if the surf didn’t quite cooperate day one with Less-than-ideal conditions made it challenging, but our surfers adapted, competed hard, and made the most of every heat and day two we had some better waves.
Our Varsity squad took 2nd place in the STATE, and our Junior Varsity brought home the STATE CHAMPIONSHIP title 🥇🔥
Beyond the podium finishes, what stood out most was the camaraderie. The support in and out of the water, the sportsmanship, and the way our surfers represented our school made us incredibly proud.
Huge shoutout to our amazing parents for the constant support, early mornings, and endless encouragement. And thank you to everyone @nssasurf who helped put on such an incredible event. Also big shout out to @fish101restaurant for feeding our hungry surfers !!

It’s been an insane year as we wrap up the regular season with both our division one and two teams undefeated, # 1 in San Diego !!! Division three is undefeated as well with one contest to go !!! San Dieguito surf has for the first time in history added a division three team and we are happy to announce our first D3 Team event was a success!! Congrats to the coaches and surfers on victory number one!!!

San Dieguito surf team did it again at this wknds NSSA National Championship at salt creek. Waves were pumping and the groms were on fire!! Was so great to see teams from all over California as well as the east coast and Hawaii and to see such great camaraderie across the board!! Big thanks to NSSA for such a great event !!

It was Home Sweet Home for the San Dieguito Academy Surf Team who captured their second straight State Championship Title at their home break at Seaside Reef and technically their first time sitting solely at the top of the podium. (In 2024 SDA and San Clemente shared the State Title in a tie for first). It was a winning team effort for the 7-person Varsity squad with 4 members placing in finals. Congratulations Mustangs!
