Big congrats to our team for completing the 2026 JSRC Jersey Shore Marathon Relay! Beautiful day for a beautiful course. Five of us combined ran 26 miles starting from Seaside Heights all the way up to Asbury Park under 4 hours! Managed to place 31 out of 149 teams...pretty good for a team with some members coming back from injuries and/or just started running recently. Also a special thanks to our support squad for making the drive all the way down to help shuttle, cheer, and take photos and videos for all of us. We couldn't have made this a fun and memorable experience without you all!

When I had heard that @jerseysaurus was donating a T-Rex to Leonia, I wondered where it might end up. Currently it's sitting across from the horse paddocks in Overpeck Country Park -- and I hope it stays there. It's fitting that it stay in nature with its descendants, the avian dinosaurs, in one of NJ's pre-eminent birding locations. . . . . . . . . . . #fondfarewellfsd

Back in Oct. 2016, my colleague @avnelson18 and I were sent out on assignment to cover @jerseysaurus for @metrofocuswnet . They had just moved from their original location in Secaucus and were in the middle of their inaugural year in a new location. Fast forward to 2022, Andrea and I have both moved on from MetroFocus, but my wife @kwu.chaos and I moved to this small town called Leonia, where I'm thrilled to learn, after the fact, is the town where Field Station Dinosaurs is. As we started a family of our own last year, I was already excitedly planning regular future trips to this park, so I was devastated to learn that this would be their final season. I'm glad we got to experience this park today on their last day. My sons are probably too young to remember much of what they saw, and I don't know what will come to take over this space, but I do hope that whatever comes next will continue to inspire the wonder and excitement that Field Station Dinosaurs did for so many. Scroll through for photos from Andrea and my initial shoot at the park as well as a few with my family today. It wasn't the most visible to the naked eye near me, but I headed out to try and capture the Aurora Borealis anyway and I'm glad I did. . . . . . . . . . . #aurora #auroraborealis #northernlights #nature #naturephotography

This year's @adaptiveclimbersfest was an ABSOLUTE whirlwind that I'm STILL recovering from. That said, I am so glad to have been around for it and I'm excited to see how much it's grown through the years. This year I got to witness some amazing moments, catch up with some treasured friends and meet some more phenomenal people. For me, although climbing is such a big part of my life, sometimes it's hard to stay motivated. Being around such a wonderful community this past weekend definitely reignited my own stoke and I can't wait to climb with you all again in the future. Swipe to the end for a photo from the very first ACF in @horse_pens_40 in 2018. Special thank you to @lagolindacamp for hosting us this year and @muirvalley for accommodating us at the crag. More to come, so stay tuned! . . . . . . . . . . #redrivergorge #adaptiveclimbersfest #rockclimbing #climbing
