By the time I discovered Scribe, they were already a nostalgia-certified scene band. Everyone talked about how good and fun they were to watch, while the best I got were old videos from Blue Frog and GIR on YouTube. Not gonna lie, I was a little jealous. Cut to Scribe actually making a comeback, I was excited! Everything people had said about how good and fun their shows were turned out to be true (Bichoo Gang vs Eagle gang, Burger vs Biceps, Public ke upar Scehzwan chutney). Throughout the gig, and even after, I could see that admiration in everyone’s eyes. The way the band was greeted the moment their set ended, and seeing how genuinely happy everyone was, made me happy too.

We tore through the exact albums that shaped his sound over the years; from essential 90s alt-rock and industrial cuts that his contemporaries put him onto, to the foundational electronic and hip-hop albums that got him into music to begin with!
As expected, man knows his music!
